Bryce's First Time To Play In The Snow

This was Bryce's first time in the snow today...he was not walking when it snowed on Christmas. He was so curious and excited to go outside in the snow. He brought his plastic cups with him to make snowballs. He even tried a taste of his first snowball. I was so glad when he did not like the taste of it because I did not want him to keep eating the snow. I put so many layers on him and the snow came up so high on his legs that he kept falling over. Bryce helped me make his first snowman. We made it little like him. I had to put him in his wagon to take his picture next to it because he kept wanting to knock it down...typical little boy!

1st Trip to the Park

Bryce Loved the swings and the slide. He got to meet a little girl that was 15 months old and he could not stop staring at her...it was so cute! At first we went down the slide with him, but then we let him go the rest of the time by himself and he loved it. Bryce walked all around the park and did not want to leave. The cedar chips all around the swings gave him a bit of trouble in the walking department, but he just kept getting back up and exploring. Now we are just waiting for the weather to get better so we can go and visit the other different parks in the area.

Rain Rain Go Away

Yesterday we wanted to get out of the house since it was dark all day, but we had nowhere to go. So we went to the store and got some cookies to make. This is Bryce's first taste of chocolate chip bliss! he loved it and kept following me around and signing that he wanted more.
Where's Bryce? Bryce thought he was completely hidden and he kept laughing when I asked "where's Bryce?"
There he is!
I could not find Bryce for a couple seconds. Normally it is a dead giveaway that he is in the cabinets because he clears everything out of the cabinet first and then gets in. This time he just jumped on top of everything and closed the door. He kept hiding in the cabinet and opening and closing the door for about ten minutes. He thought he was soo sneaky!

Bryce's Favorite Thing To Do...

Is BATHTIME! Bryce's takes a long bath every night before he goes to bed. He loves to play in the bathtub.
He shoots hoops in the tub. Ryan is getting him trained early!
Cutie pie. He refuses to lean his head back in order for us to wash off the shampoo so we have to just dump water over the top of his head to get the shampoo out. He makes a face and keeps on playing.
These pictures are from last night in the tub. We have trouble now that he can walk so well. If you leave the door open to his bathroom when he is in his room he races to his bathtub and tries to swing his leg over to get in. And we have to drain his bathtub of all the water before we take him out of the tub or he gets angry and wants back in. So now we take him out of the bathroom an shut the door and dry him off away from the tub so that he will not keep getting back up and trying to get back in the tub.

Toddlerhood!

Bryce and Uncle Nate! Within the recent week Bryce has mastered the art of throwing dramatic falling to the ground fits...I have not been able to snag a picture of it yet, but it is pretty funny. He saves his energy for only when you are watching him and stops when you leave the room.
Sorry I have not posted in a while...camera cord issues. Also, Bryce is a walking machine and things have gotten a little more hectic. Anyways, Bryce's new favorite food is dinosaur chicken nuggets. I have to give him his green beans first or he will only eat the nuggets. Today, when I gave him the nuggets halfway through his green beans, he gave the rest of his green beans to the dogs (who are always waiting patiently below his high chair to see what gets thrown overboard)!

Bryce got a hold of Grammy's purse and then wrapped it around his waist and dragged it around the house.
We just got back from a trip to Harlingen and Bryce got to meet the pilot and sit up in the cockpit. They were so nice, they gave Bryce pilot wings and a flying certificate. We had to take his wings away because he kept taking them off and poking people with them.

Christmas at Uncle Ronnie's

We did a quick photo session at the end of our Christmas at Ronnie's yesterday. As you can see by Bryce, we should have done it earlier because he was a little cranky in all the pictures. This is Bryce with his Mema and Papa Ewers.
This is Mema and Papa with the line of Ewers men.
This is a picture of the five generations on Ryan's dad's side of the family starting with Bryce's Great Great Grandmother Carlene, then Mema Ruthie, then Ryan's dad Joe (Papi), then Ryan, and Finally Bryce!
This is all of the Ewers men with Grandma Carlene.

Bryce's First Christmas

Bryce on his very first Christmas morning. He woke up at about 8:45 am and even got to see snow for the first time. It snowed here last night and there was still plenty of snow covering the ground on Christmas morning.
Where is Bryce? Bryce needed help opening his presents, but once they were opened he did not want any help playing with them. We quickly took the boxes the toys came in away so that Bryce would play with the toy and not the box.
Then we went to Grammy and Papi's house to celebrate. Bryce loved all of the food that Grammy, Papi, Mema, and Papa cooked. He played and played and never took his nap.
sweet baby! I have more pictures I wanted to post, but it only lets me post four so I will post some more tomorrow.
