Ice Skating, Bounce Houses, and Carousels Oh My!

Bryce went ice skating for the first time today!

Nanny was nervous about getting out on the ice, but she was a trooper!

Bryce was having trouble keeping his legs from skating in different directions.

Nanny started feeling pretty great about her ice skating skills...so great in fact that she skated a stretch and then tried to do a quick backwards twirl and...needless to say I did not get my camera out fast enough to capture her graceful fall!

Bryce was getting the hang of scooting to us on the ice some until he fell about halfway around his first time around the rink...that was the beginning of the end. We only made it around the rink once and Bryce was ready to get off. So we found a bounce house place right across from the rink that was more Bryce's speed.

Bryce loved running to each and every bounce house there...and I mean running.

Happy to be off the ice and on the slide!

Can you see Bryce way up there?

I wish this picture wasn't blurry, I had a blast getting to slide down the slides with Bryce!

Here is a less blurry pic.
Unfortunately, Bryce was not to happy about having to leave the bounce house place.

But we quickly found a way to cheer him up! The Carousel did the trick...plus I had a coupon for a free Carousel ride!

Bryce waving to his fans!

We Miss Daddy!

Ryan has been out of town and we are use to traveling with him on his business trips so we have missed him so much these past four days! Luckily he will be back tomorrow! Bryce has been asking about daddy a lot so we looked at some pictures of him. Below is a set of cute pics that I took last month.

Ryan found a cute Santa game on his phone and the boys had just started the game and Bryce snuggled real close.
Here is the boys intensely focusing on the game.....

..and then giggles from both of them!! Bryce ran Ryan's battery all the way down playing the Santa game. (If you look real close, you can see how curly the back of Bryce's hair is when it's not brushed out after his bath.)

Christmas Pics

This was right after Bryce opened all off his Christmas presents...he looks a little overwhelmed!

Playing play-dough with Uncle Nate!

This was after Bryce had a little too much Grasshopper Pie for dessert.

Bryce and Easton right after they exchanged Christmas presents....so cute!
Aunt Jenner, Uncle Pat, Andrea & Maddy got Bryce a chest full of Bryce's favorite characters. Bryce wanted to be Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
Bryce loved playing his drums that Jon, Carrie, and Katie got for him. Bryce played the drums pretty loud and since Jon and Carrie's daughter Katie's third birthday is coming up, Ryan joked with them that there might be a loud payback present for getting Bryce drums.
Bryce dressed up like Santa for Christmas dinner.
This is Bryce's first picture with Santa..he was a little hesitant, well actually when it was his turn and I asked him if he wanted to see Santa he said: "Nope!". But he sat up there like a champ while we snapped some shots.
Bryce really got the hang of opening presents this year...the only snag was that as soon as he opened a present he wanted to play with it first before he opened another present.
Our family...man are family photos difficult to capture with a toddler!

Bryce Turned Two Today!

Hi Everyone,
Since Bryce is now 2 years old and saying and doing so many funny things I am going to try really hard to keep the blog going strong. This is how Bryce started his first morning at two years old. He put on my pink cap and got in his Flintstones car. He said: "hey mommy, I'm a snowman!" When I asked him what a snowman does he stated: "They drive really fast!" and he
raced around the kitchen.

Bryce got some Birthday money from Grandma Carlene and I told him we could go to toys r us today and get a birthday toy with his money. He picked out a car stunt track and was so excited to take it out and play with it.

Bryce playing with his new car stunt track! Thank you Grandma, we love you and we miss you!

For Bryce's birthday dinner we went to Crystal's Pizza to eat and play some games. Bryce loves to play ski ball the "bryce way".

Bryce wore his nerd shirt that uncle James and Aunt B got him. Bryce was ready to play some games in this picture, but I wanted him to eat a little more food before hitting the games. When we were on our way to Crystal's Pizza and we asked Bryce if he wanted some pizza he said "just a little bit." I think he was already planning on getting to play games as quickly as possible.

Shooting some hoops...like father like son!

Happy Birthday Honey Bunny....I cannot believe you are 2 my sweet boy!!!!
